Introduction
My name is Adam, I have lived in the Dream Land for far too long and it has become very lonely. But I have learnt of a way to travel to those of you who have strong dreams and possibly bring you back with me. I need your help, I can't get out of here alone. This place looks like a fantasy when you first arrive, you see when we dream here, anything we want can come true, we can create anything we want, except for living things. But we can't control our nightmares and the longer you stay, the more you have. You have to help me.
In this roleplay you can either be a Dreamer or a Child of the Dream. Dreamers are the children brought from earth by Adam to help him find a way out. A Child of the Dream is someone who lives in the Dream Land, they do not want the Dreamers to leave, either because they want the power to create for themselves or perhaps they are a long lost dream looking for someone to finish or something else.
Dreamers can create any inanimate object, they can only do this when they sleep by "bringing back" said object with them, it must be a relevant object that they focus on in the dream. In nightmares random evil is brought back with the Dreamer trying to, this can be a living thing (not a person must be some kind of monster) and also powerful objects that may backfire later on or have negative effects.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 3 authors
The boy sighed again, he could feel the heavy dark circles under his eyes. If there was someone here maybe he wouldn't want to close them so badly. Adam turned towards the dark trees surrounding the meadow. What if someone came, but it wasn't in the meadow? How would he find them? He couldn't wait forever. Actually, he probably could.
Now, she was watching the blond boy from her spot among the trees, curious. She had been afraid to breathe almost, not wanting him to notice her. He was interesting, and so lonely looking.
She felt sorry for him, being so alone like that.
He glanced back towards the trees, and she held her breath, hoping he wouldn't see her hiding. Her dark hair and eyes blended in pretty well, thank goodness for that, but her skin was pale and probably was noticable.
She didn't exactly know why she didn't want to be seen by him; it was uncharacteristic of her. But for now, she just wanted to watch, wait, and listen.
Adam started to hum a tune and walked casually away from the trees towards the center of the meadow. When he got there he sat himself down, crossed his legs and stared directly at the spot where he was sure "it" had moved. He really didn't have anything to lose anymore.
"I know you're there might as well come out."
Vienna came out from behind her tree trunk, looking at the boy in the meadow. She walked towards him, unsure of herself, her steps light and nervous.
"Hello, um, I'm sorry for invading your meadow. I'm not even sure how I got here, so if I need to leave, just tell me." Vienna saw that he looked to be about 16, around the age of herself. She gave him a smile, and then her eyes widened. I just spoke. I. Just. Spoke.
"No, no!" Adam said a little louder than he needed to. He mentally hit himself again and stuck his hand out.
"I'm Adam, sorry if I sounded rude or anything, I don't get good company often." He chuckled softly. Often, a better word would've been ever.
She didn't understand this; there was something strange about this place, something unearthly. And Adam, he acted as if he hadn't seen another person in centuries.
Perhaps that was an exagerration, but still. She gave him her warmest smile, genuinely happy to see him. She shook his hand, blushing a little. "I must sound really dumb. I don't even remember how I got here."
"I wouldn't expect you to, Vienna." Adam laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head. How to put this gently.
"You see, you're in the Dream Land, I brought you here. At least I think I did, not that that really matters." He bit his lip, maybe he shouldn't have mentioned the fact that he may be the reason for her coming here. "Either way, I'm really glad you're here, I've been so lonely. Um, anyways, this place is magic. See here all our dreams can come true. And unfortunately, we can't leave. Well at least I couldn't but now you're here so maybe there's hope."
He looked up at her nervously, biting his lip. She looked pretty lost. "I'm sure that sounds crazy and I'm not the best at explaining things and unfortunately I can't prove it because of the nightmares..." He looked down at his shoes. I think I might have given her too much information to process...
She looked at him closely, wondering if maybe he was crazy. He seemed calm, and sane, but you could never tell for sure. Is he for real? I don't know about this.. It would explain why she couldn't remember how she got here, or even where here was, but it was a little far-fetched for her taste.
He looked down, and Vienna paused, thinking. Maybe, just maybe, she should humor him. "Okay, well, what are nightmares first of all?"
"You see, the nightmares, they're bad dreams and when we dream here they really do come true, well parts of them. In normal dreams I noticed I bring back stuff, like books or weapons. But in the nightmares you can't predict anything and sometimes monsters come out. When I first got here everything was fine and I had great dreams, dreams I could actually remember. Than the nightmares started and they got worse." He laughed bitterly. "I haven't slept for a very long time."
He paused to look up at her, vaguely wondering if she thought he was insane or could see the bags under his eyes.
"You don't believe me right now, but wait until night comes. Than you'll see..." He spoke softly, his voice fading as he did. A small part of his brain was screaming at him not to zone out again, but he new he couldn't control it. Dang, now she really was going to think he was crazy.
She waited a few moments, and he still didn't reply. "Are you, um, okay in there?" She was worried now, he was the only one who seemed to know what was going on. She didn't see any other people around, either. Adam really was her only hope of an explanation.
While he was just standing there blankly, she noticed how tired he looked. Maybe he was just a bit sleep-deprived, not insane. "Hello?" she asked again, nervous now.
He still didn't respond, and she sighed, sitting down next to his feet. So, this is the Dream Land? For some reason, I would've imagined this place to be stranger than this. She closed her eyes, smiling a little. Regardless of how weird this was, the meadow was pretty and warm. And she could speak.
This place made her happy, she realized. But what did he mean about waiting until nighttime?
