Plot
The seveth year at Hogwarts.... When the trio was off hunting Horcruxes.... When Muggle-borns ran for their lives.... When Voldemort had gained power....

But what happening inside Hogwarts herself?

Sure, we know Snape was headmaster. And we know the students learned the Dark Arts. And that the Carrows dished out brutal punishment to any “wrongdoers”. And we also know that Dumbledore’s Army revived itself in resistance to the regime of the Carrows and Severus Snape.

And that’s what we’re focusing on. The ever-so humble, ever-so mighty DA. They are Dumbledore’s Army. They are Harry’s Army. They are fighters.

This RP will bring light to all the events that took place within Hogwarts that year through the eyes of six DA members; the known and unknown alike.

*In my mind, I think the two events are connected. That is, they graffiti to help get the gang back together.


Characters*
*Everyone is doubling as a leader and a member. The reasoning is clearly Luna & Ginny temporarily leave the story for a few monthes. I chose three members based on their trials and strength of emotion. Seamus, because he’s suffering due to his best friend’s being on the run. (Dean, of course.). Michael, because he’s the one punished the greatest, as for the attempt to free the first year. Cho, because she’s emotional; she feels more than the others. Don’t worry though; the character sheets are short, and you’re basically just restating the information I already provided.

Ginny Weasley is best known as the popular, pretty sixteen year old who’s now Harry’s ex for her own protection. She’s also the youngest Weasley child, thereby Ron’s younger sister. As her red hair would suggest, Ginny’s quite the hothead, but she’s also very much determined. She’s got quite a skill with hexes, particularly the Bat Bogey Hex, her specialty. She’s also a spectacular Quidditch player. Ginny has a pet Pygmy Puff by the name of Arnold..She’s a leader of the DA, and goes into hiding over Easter break.

Seamus Finnigan is a Housemate to Neville, Harry & Ron; that is to say, he’s of the same House and year. His best friend is Dean Thomas, a good drawer who is currently on the run from the Muggle-borm Registration Committee. Seamus has the tendency to “overdo” spells, resulting in minor explosions. (That’s our only reference to the movies.) He’s seventeen years old, child of a witch and a Muggle. His Patronus is a fox. He’s a member.

Luna Lovegood is carefree, paying no mind to the insults of others. Many call her “Loony”, thanks to her ability to believe in the impossible. Luna has a permanently surprised and dreamy look on her face, and she has a huge heart. Despite her being half-blood, both her parents are magical, but only her father remains living, the editor of the Quibbler. Luna witnessed her mother’s death when she was young, giving her the capability to see thestrals. Luna loves animals, and her Patronus is a hare. She’s one of the leaders of the DA, and gets kidnapped returning from Christmas break.

Michael Corner | Ravenclaw | Seventh Year | Half-Blood

Michael is ex of both Ginny and Cho (book 5). He’s seventeen years old, and gets beaten to the pulp for setting free a first year the Carrows had chained up. He’s a member of the DA.

Neville has been shown throughout the books as forgetful and clumsy. But towards the end (i.e. in our RP), he’s greatly motivated and determined. His parents are in ST. Mungo’s, driven insane by Bellatrix Lestrange’s Cruciatus Curses. Therefore, he lives with his Gran in the summer. He’s probably the most defiant of all the DA, wanting to venge his parents. Neville’s specialty is Herbology, and he’s not good on a broom. He’s also the first to move permanently into the Room of Requirement, narrowly escaping death from the Carrows. Neville is seventeen, and he’s one of the leaders of the DA.

Cho Chang | Ravenclaw | Seventh Year | Half-Blood

Cho Chang is best known as ex of both Cedric Diggory (book 4) and Harry (book 5). She’s a pretty, popular Asian girl, but she’s very emotional. She’s seventeen years old, a member of the DA, and her Patronus is a swan.
