Situation

In the kingdom of Kaedan.
The fort Noxis is meant to guard 3 desert towns.
Lakeside - to the north-west- a small fishing town
Orcden-to the north-east- is considered a trade spot with the orcs of the north
Villa-to the south- important trade route- caravans arrive here from the kingdom

The towns' elders are respected by the people but have no real power. They are not officials.
The fort's governor is the ultimate authority there.
Commanding officers at the fort are either corrupt or ignoring their duties.
The honest people are unhappy both because of the abusive officers as well as the high crime rate. These towns have become a haven for criminal groups.

An important event takes place. For the first time in the kingdom’s history women are admitted into military.
By this I mean they are paid for their services, as well as provided with the proper equipment and training.
The kingdom is quite militaristic and thus soldiers have considerable benefits. Families of those how serve in the kingdom’s armies are provided with considerable income.
While some soldiers consider this change a joke, others consider it an outrage.
And so a group of girls arrive at the fort. They must now try and make a name for themselves or at least try to survive in this new and hostile environment.
