Sythta was relaxing on the shady branches of her favorite tree, soaking up the bright sun shining through, which was rapidly melting over the land like honey. She could hear the noises of birds, but then she couldn't anymore. Something was very wrong, so she decided to investigate. She bounded through the moist grass, flowers and mud. The air smelled of spring and of the previous nights rain, she deeply inhaled, closing her eyes. When she reopened them, she saw something in the distance. It was a terrible black color, and it drifted up like an evil spirit reaching for the heavens. The smell of spring was gone and replaced with one that burned her throat as she let out a long, powerful screech to contact the others.
