The Nightshade pack includes 5 people. They all hang out during school and after school but from 7-9 p.m. they are guarding the cave and taking turns hunting for food. They are like werewolves, but hate being called that. They can change form whenever they want and look more like a wolf then a monster. Some people in the pack have started to fall for each other. When somoeone with a odd star on their neck is found, Calla starts to fall for him and not who she is being fourced to marry. They find out as time goes by that Calla really cares for her pack as she risks her life to save them from the master of a clan of lion type things. The bane pack also includes 5 people and they guard another cave. Both packs keep their distance and at school they annoy each other.

Harvest Child

The harvest child is exactly who the searchers need to gain trust from the packs again. He has a odd marking on his neck of a star that only the packs and searchers can see, not even himself can see. Being in the same class as Calla and Ren is not a good thing but it happens. Shay loves Calla but makes the mistake of showing it causing Ren to be mad.
