STRUCTURES AND FEATURES OF "GLACIES ET NIVIS" (Inside)

"Glacies et Nivis" has a large variety of features for their clients, to cover everyone's needs and wishes. This section refers to the stuff you can find without leaving the resort.

-Main Lounge: Probably the coziest place of the whole resort, the main Lounge is a large open space. Half of it is made out of glass, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains as well as of a large part of the Ski Slopes and Hiking Paths. There is also a large fireplace offering heat and dim light, and many tables. people tend to come here to play board games, eat, plan their next days' activities, or just hang out.

-Restaurants: There are four main restaurants in the resort, all of which offer a different kind of food: One is a japanese-style restaurant, offering various oriental dishes, both warm and cold. The second is a seafood restaurant, where people that like fish have every single of their wishes covered. The third one offers various national meals, such as the English Breakfast and Fish and Chips, Italian Spaghetti and Pizza, and Mexican Tacos. The fourth has no special field, and offers a variety of meals which cover close to every wish of the resorts' clients.

-Mountain Cafe: Located in the Main Lounge, the Cafe offers various hot drinks, cakes, pies and similar food to gnaw on while discussing or enjoying the view. People tend to come here to relax after a long day of hiking or snowboarding.

-Fast Food stands: There are many small stands of various food chains in different parts of the Ski Resort, offering fast food of all kinds - to sit down or to take away, it's the client's choice.

-Indoor Garden: It's located near the Main Lounge, and heated up artificially. Large and with many open spaces, it's more of an indoor park than a garden, perfect for leisurly walks in a warm area after the cold climate of the snow.

-Swimming Pool: Offering a large space for people to train or have fun, the swimming pool is visited by lots of clients. It has pools for children and babies, jacuzis, diving boards, a 50m and 100m pool, one with artificial waves and a deep pool for scuba divers. The resort also offers swim and watersport courses for all ages.

-Artificial Beach: At the side of the pool for scuba divers and the one with artificial waves, people can subathe, read, play or take a nap on the sandy ground, to feel like they were on the beach while in fact being in the high mountains. the biggest part of the pool is covered by a sunroof, to put more realism into the thing.

-Quarters: They are divided into four quality classes, offering a stay for every price, but all are a good option. There are rooms for one, two and four persons, to allow families to stay together.

The Ski Resort offers a large program of ski, snowboarding and hiking courses, and guides for wandering. There are slopes for every level of experience, including absolute beginners and professionals, from easy to challenging to extreme hardcore. There are also hiking routes, and the Ski Resort's personal can advise people which routes to take based on their experience and what they want to do. Various alpine huts on the surrounding mountains also have contracts with "Glacies et Nivis", to allow wanderers to stay for the night. Clients of the Ski Resort also automatically get a pass allowing them to use the ski lifts and transportation services unlimitedly during the time of their stay. Additionally there are various rescuing teams with snowmobiles and helicopters ready to come and help anyone that gets injuried. The safety always comes first!
