Introduction
The Demora and Semora pack had been at war for decades before finally the pack leaders in the present settled their differences and conducted a treaty. No wolf from their pack was allowed to hunt in the other pack's territory, kill another wolf, commit any offence that harms the packs and cannot mate with a wolf from the opposite pack. This treaty worked for a few years until the dead body of the Semora packs Leader was found mutilated and dead in the forest. Now with the Semora pack in shambles and the Demora pack still denying any responsibility they clash more often.
Important info
The Demora pack is filled with ruthless and untrustworthy wolves who prefer to sneak and stealth their way to revenge. They care little for mercy and don't believe in laws ruling over them. They rule with Revenge, and eye for an eye and so forth
The Semora pack believes in Justice and protecting the innocent. They take in almost everyone needing aid and laws rule what they can and cannot do. They believe in honesty and tradition, something the Demora's hate.

He ran back to the pack with it dangling in his mouth like a ragdoll, he stopped and stood there, still holding it as he watched the pack. Wolves wandering, sleeping, play fighting, all of this happening right in front of him. This is what he hated about being in a pack, he wanted to constantly kill and hunt, he didn't want to sleep or just hang out usually, nobody really cared about him as a friend anyways. As far as he knew he was just an entity for the pack, and a valuable one at that.
He lied down with the rabbit, chewing at it as he watched.
"You understand the importance of this Nadine, right?"
"No I do not. We have a chance to increase the pack! To take wolves in-"
"That is not how the Demora pack works Nadine, as my daughter and the next in line surely you could understand that"
The large black wolf sighed, his ears twitching. Nadine could see the dent in his ear from the attack years ago, she quickly averted her gaze, she knew her father hated it when she looked at it for too long. Her father's bright blue eyes watched her carefully, he didn't believe she was ready at all, especially with the Semora pack leader dead and their pack desperate she couldn't handle it. He sighed and shook his head.
"And as my father and the current leader of the pack surely you could understand that power comes in numbers"
And with that Nadine growled, her ears flattening and she trotted off leaving her father near the cave, his tail twitching furiously. Nadine had struck a nerve, she always did. She preferred diplomacy rather than blind attack. She grumbled as she trotted on reaching the beginning of the forest, it led to the hunting ground, not that there would be much food there anyway. She wasn't allowed to leave the pack, ever since the Semora pack leader had died they had blamed the Demora's, they were ready for one to become weak. Nadine looked out at the pack, they all seemed occupied, and as her father shifted back into the cave she took the opportunity and sprinted off.
He continued flicking his tail and before long he decided to go back to the hunting grounds. He walked back to his spot which was covered by a tree, meaning there was no snow under it, and lied down, looking out over the field he spotted the sprinting wolf yet again.
Nadine twitched her tail, her ears flattening back and she bared her teeth. She stalked closer, her eyes focused on nothing but the prey in front of her. She stalked closer once more. The fox's ears twitched, it heard her. Nadine needed to act quick or else she'd lose it. She bolted upright and sprinted forward, she was so close. She pounced-
Only for something else to collide into her.
The other wolf gripped onto her neck and pulled it with her as it landed and skidded across the ground. Nadine growled and used her back paws to scratch right across the wolf's body causing it to yelp out and let her go. When she stumbled onto her paws she spotted the wolf. Brown fur, hazel eyes. Features typical in a Semora wolf. She growled.
"You have no right being here!"
"What the hell is going on here!" he snarled at the two, he glared at the brown wolf, probably from the Semora pack.
"Back off" he snarled, his ears pinned against his head as he wagged his tail, staring at the other wolf expecting an attack, "Get off her...now!" He lunged forward at the wolf, startling it, before leaning back, "I said LEAVE!"
"You're in Demora pack territory..." Nadine smirked her claws reaching out and digging into the snow. "You know the rules"
"So did you, but look what that got us!"
"It wasn't us who killed your leader, now I suggest you scram before the rest of the pack hears this" Nadine growled her teeth bared. The Semora wolf growled back almost like it was ready to attack again but looking to the two wolves and realising it was vastly outnumbered. It growled and turned around sprinting off.
Nadine took a long breath and looked to the white wolf, a small smile showing. She looked to the snow ground and noticed the drop of blood and immediately remembered her neck wound.
"Father shant be too pleased about this" Nadine said it almost sarcastically. "You're one of the new ones right? Spike right? You're lucky, father doesn't take in wolves often"
"Yeah, that's me" he glanced at the drop of blood, "Your Nadine right? You alright by the way? I don't think I've ever seen you out here in the hunting grounds before."
He turned his head both ways, making sure the wolf wouldn't come back.
"Yup that's me" Nadine chuckled before wincing slightly, stretching her neck trying to get more air into the wound. "Yeah, yeah I should be fine" she winced again her paws digging into the snow. "I don't hunt often...my father would rather keep me in a dark cave rather than let me help the pack"
Nadine sighed and looked around her ears twitching. Godammit here comes the cavalry.
"There's more of them, they probably smell the blood. We're sitting ducks out here"
Nadine trotted back the way she came before stopping and looking to Spike.
"We have to go back, but don't worry. This isn't the last time the Semora's will see us"

"Why would your father wanna keep you in a dark cave?" Spike asked, "He's just being overprotective, but what use is it being protected and bored instead of in danger and happy?"
When she mentioned it wouldn't be the last of seeing the Semora's he smirked, he could see it now, blood spilled everywhere, him biting into the flesh of another wolf. The idea of revenge made him laugh, they would one day get what they deserved. But, he had no idea if we actually did kill their leader.
"He's worried...I'm next in line to lead the pack and with the Semora leader dead he's worried he's next" she sighed and winced again, her teeth baring on instinct. "He thinks I'm not ready to take over, which I agree with, his methods are really different than mine"
She kept walking before the pack came into view. She looked at them and shook her head causing her neck to strain and her to wince again.
"I would rather rule with diplomecy rather than petty battles, we have more power in numbers so I plan to lose as few a wolf as possible" Nadine smiled before walking back into the pack den.
The pups could smell the blood and cried out, running to their mothers. The hunters and warriors got on high alert and one of the elders did their best to run towards Nadine.
"I'm fine, I'm fine" Nadine braved a smile.
"What is the meaning of this?!" The leader came out, Nadine's father, his eyes glaring to Nadine before turning to Spike. "You! Report!"
"Well I was out in the hunting field like usual, and I saw Nadine there, she looked like she was hunting something but them a Semora wolf came by and the two fought, I went up there to help and we scared it away but, not without injury" he said, then looked over at her with his ears down. Something about her was different, this wasn't love, not even friendship, he barely knew her, it had just been a long time since he saw a wolf like her that hadn't wanted ruthless fighting and wanted more peace. The good side of wolves.
Nadine stood taller, craning her head higher. That in turn caused her wound to worsen but she didn't show it. Her father growled and stepped closer to her, his ears laid back and his teeth bared.
"You left the pack!?"
"To train, to get something to eat! Why else would I go to the hunting grounds?" Nadine's voice raised higher but not into a shout, her right paw took a step forward so it was closer to her father.
"You know the rules!"
"Indeed I do...so why don't you tell me who killed the Semora pack leader" Nadine's voice was low now, her ears pinned back. She didn't look at all happy. "Cause everytime I ask I don't get an answer and now we have Semora wolves on our doorstep"
"It was your own fault" her father sighed, before looking to one of the elders. "Patch her up please..."
The elder wolf nodded and gently helped Nadine, Nadine's eyes were glazing over and she was beginning to wobble, so the elder let Nadine lean on her and helped her to the cave.
"You" the leader turned to face Spike. "Thank you for protecting my daughter...in some aspects shes right I haven't told her who killed the Semora leader and I don't plan to. She's an adventurous girl, she was actually planning to run away, have a year of adventure before becoming leader. And she uses diplomacy when there can be no peace" the leader sighed and looked and watched as Nadine limped away. "She is the only one who can take over the pack, I do not trust anyone else...so I wish to ask a job of you"
"Thank you sir, although I have to respectfully..." Spike stopped himself, he didn't need to have a bad relationship with the leader already, "So what's the job?"
The Leader looked to the cave as the elder walked out leaving Nadine inside. Nadine was curled up in a small ball, green paste on her neck. The leader looked to Spike once more and sighed again.
"I'm sorry to place this burden on you but she is a trouble"
Spike looked over at Nadine as he waited for an answer.
"We did not" he answered slowly, his eyes lingering to where Nadine lay. "Which mean somebody from their own pack must have killed him or....could be a new wolf pack"
Nadine stirred and her father sighed. "I have to go, take the hunters out. You are welcome to join if you wish but this little troublemaker...." the leader looked to the stirring Nadine. "Is staying here"
It was almost as if he wasn't telling Spike that but Nadine, which was true Nadine sighed and huffed opening her eyes and giving her father a glare. She wasn't sneaky.
"I say we go figure out what the hell is happening" Nadine wobbled back onto her paws, the green paste sizzling into the wound on her neck. "A new pack? If that is the case then hell is going to break lose"
Nadine stumbled over to the entrance of the cave and looked out at the remaining wolves.
"But in my condition I would struggle to investigate anything. So tell me..." Nadine sat and used her hind paw to scratch her ear. "What happened to you? My father doesn't just take in random wolves, ones who's reputation used to be a nicey nice one as well"
"Anyways, that's not important how I changed" he said, then began looking down, "I guess all I saw was the bad side in wolves, hell, I wanna kill every single one I see. I'm ashamed to be one of them, but I try to embrace it."
"Everyone has a reputation Spike, some more than others. And don't worry only Father and I know your reputation, we had to, to make sure you weren't a threat to the pack" Nadine smiled and sighed shaking her head.
When Nadine heard about Spike unable to fully embrace himself being a wolf her eyes widened and she looked to him, that must be difficult to deal with but Nadine had never ever dreamed of being anything or anyone else than her.
"You seem very...violent" Nadine chuckled as she let her paw play with a stone on the ground. "Violence is needed, while we think completely different methods, it's good to know we're not trying to murder each other on petty arguments"
"But, I think your dad might be right on one thing, you gotta stop trying to figure out who killed the Semora leader. It's just too dangerous. I mean if it's a whole new wolf pack who knows what hell they could bring us." Spike replied, looking down at the ground, knowing she wouldn't react well.
"I guess your right" Nadine sighed and nodded. "If it is a new pack we just have to watch out, especially to the pups. New packs have a habit of kidnapping young ones"
Nadine chuckled as she watched the little pups tackling each other to the ground. She winced again as the paste sizzled more, honestly Nadine didn't know how the hell it was doing that but she didn't mind. It was helping her.
"And as for you" Nadine smiled to Spike. "While yes you terrify me slightly, your willingness to kill is new to me, never met anyone like that before but...that could prove invaluable to this pack. So play your cards right and boy are you gonna go far"
