In a world where nature has been abolished, where food must be grown on platforms in the sea because there is not an inch of land left unoccupied, where the Evermist Corporation controls the lives of the people and where corruption is the norm, we of the Knightwatch are the last hope of the people. We give up our identities, in order to fight for a better tomorrow. We give up our lives and our families, in order to preserve the lives and families of the people who can not do as we have done. We are each others' nation, each others' family. We fight to protect and to preserve, and we place no value in our own lives. We are a strict society, governed by commandments which are broken only upon pain of death. Joining us is a step forwards that erases all the paths you have left behind. Take caution in becoming one of us.

9. Never obey an order that you do not believe is right.

The Ranks
The Watcher - our leader and the creator of the Knightwatch, he is the most hunted man in the world. Not even the Knights have ever seen his face. He prefers to keep it that way, for his own sake and for that of the people who he has loved in the past. He rarely leaves Headquarters, so as not to jeopardize the rest of the Knights. He only goes out for the most difficult of missions.(taken)
The Voice - second-in-command to our leader, he delivers the orders of the Watcher, who prefers not to leave Headquarters, as his presence outside would jeopardize his mission. He is privy to the deepest secrets of the Knightwatch, and is rumored to have known the Watcher before the Knightwatch was formed. (open)
The Knights - the main body o the Knightwatch, they joined the force because they did not like what they saw happening to the world. They shed their identities, to follow the Watcher in his mission of protecting the world from corruption.
