Name: Lucius Blackstone, I picked it when I first rose to power.

Age: Really? You think I'd tell you something like that? Let's just say I've lived for a long time, and magic is why I'm still young.

Gender: Male, of course.

Appearance: You have eyes, don't you? Is my picture not enough for you to gaze upon to understand what I look like? The only things that would be undiscernable are height and weight, which are 6'3" and 250 lb, respectively. And all of that weight is muscle.

Weapon: A staff that has a rather large cleaver blade sticking out of one end. This blade can retract into the staff, and yes, it's magic. Also, I named her Elise, and she tends to get rather aggressive if she's not allowed to stay by my side.

Skills: Hoo, boy, let's see, lying, acting, fighting, eating, holding my breath for 9 minutes, magic of any sort, COUNTERING any magic, genre savviness, knowledge of how to use a grappling hook harness... Oh, and I can change my voice! Well, not to any extremes such as a woman's voice, but I can sound like almost any other man.

History: *laughs* You don't seem to understand my role here. My history is a plot point. Because of this, the only way I can even THINK of it is in mysterious foreshadowing until the perfect moment to reveal it! All I can say is that I'm the only one capable of controlling shadows FOR A REASON.
Personality: I'm evil, do you really think I felt it worth my time to go get a psychoanalyzation done?

Love Interest: That sexy, SEXY man in the mirror. And women. LOTS of women.

Other: I was one of the first beings to exist here, and know of every single dark ritual and summoning there is, mainly because I made most of them. Let that be the only hint of my origins you'll get. Also, if I start singing while you're around, be prepared to not have control of your body for a while, because it's going to be a dance number, and EVERYONE takes part in a dance number.

Fayre was in the training room with her master, she'd heard about the coming dark mist and she felt she needed to keep her strength up. She attacked her master with a combination of physical and fire attacks, being the Fire Kingdoms most skilled master he was able to block of dodge most of her attacks. However she did manage to land a good hit to his stomach making him stumble back slightly, he smiled warmly at her and opened his arms. "That was very good Fay."
Fayre smiled happily and ran into his embrace. "Thank you master." Her master was also a dear family friend so they had a very deep bond. Her master let her go and looked down at her, placing his hands on her shoulders.
"Fay, there is a mission you must go on. It is a perilous mission that you will find anything but enjoyable but you must go, it is the order of the king."
"What is it master?"
"You must go with the two members from all the other kingdoms and defeat the Middle Mist. It was decided in a meeting between the leaders."
"What!? We're going to work together!?"
"Yes. There will also be another fire kingdom member going with you. Be brave and strong my dear Fay, now go, you must prepare for your journey."
Fay looked up at him, her eyes filled with dismay but she nodded and headed back to her home to prepare to leave, knowing she may never come back.

Tera stood in the town square with the rest of the population of Elwood. She waits patiently in the unofficial second row. "Ladies and Gentlemen, please quiet down. We are about to start the Selecting of Heroes." A royal official announced.Everyone quieted down. The girl was very nervous, for herself and for whoever got picked. There is a small chance that I'll get picked, but there's still a chance. In the Earth Kingdom everything was a big deal, especially this, so the two who got picked would never live their lives normal again.

The king and queen of Elwood make their appearance. "Citizens of Elwood. There has been a evil threat in Middlemist. The great sage has foretold of the darkness, and tells of the land's only one hope." The king starts off then the queen continues. "Two heroes from each of the four kingdoms, a boy and a girl, shall be chosen by the great sage." The queen stops and the sage speaks. "Let us begin the Selection of Heroes." The old woman says. "I see a young girl with blonde hair, eyes turquoise." T-there's lots of girls who look like that here. The old woman walks in Tera's direction. "She is addressed by Tera Cassia Forester." The sage points directly at her. "You must serve the kingdom, and save Middlemist." Tera's jaw drops and she stands there frozen in shock. I have to save Middlemist.

Raladius was waiting among a huge crowd of Airessses and Heroes, as the old sage, Palaris Zerrundion- was going to call out the names of whom was going to do whatever this was about, In the Air Kingdom,things were often hushed up after they took place.Hushed up in 0 years, as everything was something to talk about.

Palaris took his place in the center of the area,lifting himself up by wind.He cleared his ancient throat, and spoke boomingly.
"Welcome!Friends,Siblings,Families!" (a few orphans looked apprehensive) "Today is a great-and dark day.A boy and a girl will be chosen to fight a dark,corrupt wizard.I both regret this and honour,as they'll be legends!But yes, we must go on to choosing them now. The Air Hero is.." He paused a moment, looking around.

"Raladius Stroden." He announced.As Raladius came up, people glared at him,looked in envy and in awe and his biggest rival looked murderous.But no sound came.

"The Air Heroine is..." Another pause, now within the breathing of the heroes.
"Feather Jane!" And bursts of applause and cheers came her way, people smiling and crying 'good luck'.
"I suppose I'll just do this stupid quest then." Muttered Raladius bitterly.
