Setting
He felt upset and betrayed, nothing like his usual cheerful self. He felt as if his family had just abandon him. Well, most of his family. This time he took a glance behind himself, to make sure that Glacies was still following. As much as he disliked her, right now she was the only familiar face that didn't want him dead. And he didn't even want her dead at the moment.
Rogue had to stop, blood loss was starting to make him light-headed. He leaned up against a tree and just focused on breathing. "Sorry, give me a minute." he said breathlessly to Glacies. He felt bad about maaking her stop too, after all if they got caught they'd both be dead. He had to stop thinking about just himself. "Better yet, leave me here and go on ahead. I'll catch up."
(OOC: Sorry about the wait, my internet stopped working last night when I tried to post.)
Glacies plopped down on a log and she was breathing heavily. Glacies looked down at her wound and she knew she needed to find a way to cover it up. Glacies ripped off her pant leg, now fully revealing the wounded area. Glacies wrapped the pant leg tightly around her deep cut, flinching at the pain. Glacies ripped off her other pant leg and stood up, walking towards Rogue. Without even asking, she came closer to Rogue and wrapped the pant leg tightly around his body, covering his wounded side.Okay, no. I'm not leaving you behind.
Glacies decided that she could be considerate towards Rogue, for once.Let's keep going, you can lean on me if you'd like.
OOC: It's all good. :P
Contrary to popular belief, Rogue was not a player like the other soliders thought. In fact, he was still a proud virgin. So seeing her do that was new and strange. Though, he didn't wear a shirt, just a short sleeved red jacket, so he couldn't exactly say anything about her covering up. There was another rip, that Rogue assumed was the other pant leg. He turned back just in time to see Glacies walk over to him. He knew his face was still red, and willed it to go away. Glacies then wrapped the other pant leg around him, as a makeshift bandage. Rogue mumbled a thanks, already feeling much better after the short break. But they had to keep moving. As if reading his mind, Glacies spoke up. βLet's keep going, you can lean on me if you'd like.β
There were two reasons Rogue was certainly not going to lean on her. The first was his ridiculous manly pride. The second was actually practical. She was the one with the injured leg, it was hard enough for her to walk without his weight to worry about. He voiced this, trying not to sound rude as he did. "You're the one with the injured leg, you should be leaning on me." It was his awkward way of offering his help.
Glacies began walking ahead of Rogue, expecting him to follow behind her. After a few minutes of walking, her walk starting becoming a limp, but she did her best to keep her posture nice and straight. Glacies decided this would be an appropriate time to start up a conversation.I'm okay. Let's go.
So... um, how is this going to work?
Let's keep on going.
