Wrex trudged through the sewer-like cave. This was the cave of one of Wrex's least favorite monsters, goblins. Little green pests, that's all they were, and the only challenge they provide is trying to hit them. Such trivial trail was much greater for those who are over six feet tall. However, they were stealing food and such from the village who hired Wrex, so he had to remove of them.

Squish! Wrex lifted his foot to see that he had stepped into a pile of rotting foods, the goblin's favorite scent for their living spaces. They had to be close by. A few steps in and Wrex came face to face with one of the sleeping room look-outs. Before it could scream, it was covered in a bath of acid.

Now in full alert, he moved in on the goblins. The man from the village who hired him had given him a pack of explosives that could be used to close the goblins off from the outside world. The only problem was that the entrance to the cave had been too big for it to work. The sleeping chambers, during the day, would be the perfect place to strike at. Small, narrow, and filled with all but the lookouts.

Upon reaching the sleeping chambers, Wrex shoved the sack into the hole, running a fuse out to the entrance of the room. Lighting it from a small fire on conjured above his thumb, he now moved away from the soon to be cave in.

Boom! The explosion rang as Wrex stepped back into the light of day. The sound of the cave collapsing was music to Wrex's ears. He killed them without having to worry about striking his toe with his sword. Now he faced the path down to the village.

The many dragonborn of the village moved about their various honorable tasks, from forging weapons for the hunters to cleaning up the farm animals. All the work was honorable, as the dragonborn would have it no other way.

Many of the denizens cheered as Wrex walked down the street. While the goblins were little threat, they were sneaky and kept many a dragonborn up at night watching their food stores. Now, most of them could sleep, which at least earned some cheers. Upon entering the tavern, no one made a sound. Many were too drunk, or too busy drinking, to notice Wrex walk in and take a seat. The barkeep came up and handed Wrex his payment and a free drink.

Wrex walked through the daylight forest. He had a bad feeling about this hunt. First of all the reasons was the fact that the villager had no idea what creature had been breaking into his food storage. All he had known is that the creature had seemingly avoided the door as if it were not there. The second reason that Wrex had the bad feeling was just that. Teleporting creatures, or even ones that can temporarily avoid solid objects, were usually bad news.

Then he heard it. The territorial call of a telepanther. Great. A telepanther. Thought Wrex as the thing appeared from tree to tree, soon going between trees on the ground. Wrex put up his shield instinctively, moving it quickly when it disappeared for the last time.

Several Hours Later
Wrex came to as his back smashed into a tree. This was definitely not the forest he had engaged the creature in, and it was nearing night. It must believe that it can use night to its advantage. Wrex thought as he turned to look for the creature. Instead he spotted a fire, then he heard it again. The call.

Bracing again for another attack, he managed to deflect its blow, throwing it off to the side. Wrex then began running towards the camp, turning around when he heard the creature crash into the leaves on the ground. His shield went up just in time to take the hit, throwing him across the ground. After rolling around in the direction of the camp, Wrex stood up watching for it to make a single mistake again. This time it didn't, striking Wrex in the shoulder. Wrex then grabbed the telepanther's mouth, throwing his sword into Argus's tent as he pulled the creature from his shoulder, nearly landing in the fire pit as the two rolled past the little group, struggling to kill the other.

Wrex then smacked into a tree on the other side of the camp, losing grip on the creature's mouth. However, Wrex was not out of moves, punching the creature in the side, then in the head. Then it was gone, but Wrex knew that it wasn't done. They didn't quit until they died, just like a dragonborn. Then it caught the side of his vision, causing Wrex to twist, barely dodging the creature's leaping strike. When it was directly over him, Wrex's mouth began to glow, opening just in time to catch the creature's underbelly with his acid as it landed.

The telepanther, obviously in pain, stopped. With its last bit of strength, it used its abilities to launch its now corpse at Wrex, who was now just too worn move out of the way. From the outside, for a few seconds, it may have seemed like the creature's massive body overtook the dragonborn. Soon, however, the body began to lift into the air, before being tossed off to the side slightly.

Wrex got up, not noticing any of the others in his daze, as stumbled over to his sword. The fact that it had been stabbed into the cloth of a tent didn't force him back to reality, but the feel of said cloth on his feet caused him to pause. As Wrex began to drift back into reality, his sword's tip shot into the ground. He quickly leaned on it as he struggled to stay upright.

Jag

Distantly, it could hear a disturbance in the woods, the rustling of bodies and violent thoughts, a growing undercurrent to Jag's attention upon the strange half-breed and its male companion (or was it female? Gender meant very little to it, but most sentient beings were sensitive to such things). The noise was growing into a physical thing, no longer just the stirring of restless energy in the woods around the growing group of beings. It doubted Mount Haumond had seen such surface activity in awhile, now that the dwarves had slunk of to their caves and nooks away from the light.

When the two battling creatures crashed through the tension of the camp, it didn't immediately turn to look at the sight, curving its ears to listen to the ragged breathing of the Dragonborn and the beast, twitching at the its pained cry. It was only then that Jag turned its own feline eyes upon the warrior, narrowing them slightly. Its head tilted, as if asking a question, but it did not emit confusion, rather propping the creature with a careless thought. It broke off momentary as the Dragonborn stumbled to its feet, moving towards the weapon it had discarded. Forgetting momentarily how little most beings liked to be touched, it approached, side stepping until directly in front of it. Its seven digit hand pressed to the side of its face with the pointer and middle finger, and it hummed quietly under its breath, sorting through its thought with a fickle intrigue.

Kaijuu's shocked expression matched Argus's. Just moments ago this man had been trying to kill and here he was now, apologizing. Kaijuu would bet her left wing if he had pushed him off the mountain earlier today he wouldn't have apologized but now when he didn't even hit her, just raised his sword towards her, he was sorry. She was never very good at understanding humans and most times she didn't even care to try but something was definitely wrong here. The eyes that were watching her now were Argus's with a healthy dose of fear mixed in, there was no doubt about that. But the eyes that had attacked her were not his, they belonged to something else.

Before she could even ask Argus about his outburst, another stranger arrived. He had rolled through the camp a short while ago and it looked like he had returned for his sword. It had gotten stuck in Kai's tent during his scrap with some kind of giant cat. She gave him a brief glance but right now she was more concerned with Argus's sanity. If he was crazy it meant that the information he had given her could've been false and she would be back to the beginning of her quest again. She watched him closely, her ears were tuned to the strange creature to her right and the warrior to her left but her eyes were trained on Argus.

She watched his every movement for any signs that he might change again and try to attack her. He really did look scared and she wondered what could have possibly frightened him like that. Argus seemed like a man who had been through it all, the kind of guy who would stare down an army of Felyan Elves on his own and not even flinch. So what could have possibly frightened him so much that he now shrunk from her. "Are-are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?" She was awful at consoling people. Emotions have never been her strong suit and it showed.

Wrex felt the strange hand on the side of his head. With this, Wrex's mind shot into a state of half action. The hand that once balanced him on his sword was now holding onto the arm of the creature that had touched him, as he fell. His back on the ground, Wrex pulled the creature so that he could hold its midsection with his free hand.

Wrex noted how Falon was so oddly set up, and the beings strange mask. Even its feline eyes, who usually have violence that shows in their eyes, seemed calm and curious. The extra digits on the hands of the creature reminded Wrex of how dragonborn hands vary from human hands. He then started rolling the creature in his hands, carefully examining every part of its body.

"What are you?" Wrex spoke softly as he put the creature down, sat up, and grabbed his sword before putting it back in his sheath. He had still not had time to see what was around him, but Wrex's attention was on the creature. He quickly asked "Where am I?"

Jag

Jag was quietly surprised by the creatures strength, silently standing up, seven feet of willowy agility. Its mind reach out instinctively, before it remembered the Dragon-Girl's reaction to its advances, unable to understand emotions and thoughts without structure and sound. For the second time that day, it spoke, slightly more lilting then the first time, but still hesitant, struggling to shape thoughts into words,
"You are. . . on.. Mount Haumond... home of the dwarves. . .and.." It looked at the other creatures, momentarily, before continuing, "the dragon... with the face. . . of a man*, and... the half-blood... who dreams of Daemon's... and death." It returned its piercing gaze to Wrex, before grabbing its shoulder, and squeezing it lightly. It hummed quietly, as if proud of itself, for attempting to replicate the social gesture known as the shaking of hands.
"I am. . Jag... and you are..." The crooning got momentarily louder, before breaking back into speech. "Dragonborn..." With that, it side stepped towards the Demon-Half-Breed, sniffing lightly. Jag whined at the scent of 'fear', clicking its long fingernails together in a sign of agitation.

*Gender pronouns don't mean much to Jag. In this case, man means 'human'.

Wrex looked around. The odd being had struggled to speak, like children learning their first words. However, it spoke its name, Jag. That was the the biggest concern Wrex had. The big concern was the fact that he was now at Mount Haumond, half-way across the continent, in less than a day too! Teleporting creatures were really a bad idea.

Wrex, after the couple of moments of thought, stood up. He leaned on his knee as he struggled to stay standing. Dragonborn could both take a beating and recover quickly, but that telepanther was something else. He had never faced off with a creature that powerful in movement magics. It was rather startling to Wrex.

Wrex looked around, finally. He could see what looked to him like a half-elf and a half-dragon. Still, dragons were deceptive. Each of the two stood at opposite ends of the camp, one having said something that Wrex missed. "I don't know what you lot have been through, but only a few hours ago I was in the dragonborn territories." He spoke, hoping to help calm the other two and show some empathy.

Remembering Jag's words, Wrex turned to the creature and said "The dragon is not wearing the face of a man, but the face of a human female. You can tell by the protruding milk sacs on her chest. Male humans don't have those, it confused me at first too!" Laughing at the end of his sentence.

Jag

Jag flicked its ears, running its black fingernails over a slim, hairless arm slowly, before blinking at the Elf-Demon-Man (Angus? It was hard to tell, names were always difficult, as there was nothing to compare them too. Translating electrical pulses into words was usually not needed. It had been quite awhile since it had happened upon a lost traveler. The wild animals were considerably easier to read) It ran its gaze over the dragon at the Dragonborn's words, baring its teeth. Humans showed their teeth when they were happy, yes? It followed suite by sidling over to the Dragon-human-female, and giving her chest a curious glance, its thin eyebrows scrunching together. Gender wasn't necessary for its species, it was important to the majority of sentient beings, a part of them as much as a means to breed. Inhaling in a timid matter, it returned to where it had been, curiosity sated. The two original members of the party were strange, minds a jumble of pain or fear or anger, packed up and walled in. Their minds were not open, like that of the animals and its own, allowing their emotions freedom so they did not consume them. Secrets.... Why did they have so many secrets? They only brought pain.... It shook its head vigorously, fingers catching in the messy braid running down its back, before looking back up. The Dragonborn (Rex? Wex?) seemed quite a bit more stable, and it gravitated a little closer. So much confusion in two beings made Jag fill panicky, and after a moment of reluctance, pulled away, its awareness receding until it could only hear the quiet palpitations of its companies hearts.

Kaijuu was shocked, again. Before she could even get an answer out of Argus the strange warrior that had rolled through their camp started talking. It looked as though he had just noticed that they were there. It wasn't surprising since he had just been in what looked like a life or death battle with some giant cat. But still, Kaijuu always tried to be aware of her surroundings, she could have killed him when he was done fighting the cat, if she wasn't so distracted with Argus, and he wouldn't have even known what happened. He wasn't the only thing bothering her, the being that had called itself Jag and called the warrior, what was it, ah yes, Dragonborn was a little too close for comfort.

It had sniffed her before and although she had let it slide this time it was making her mad. First the dragonborn had made a joke she didn't understand and laughed at her. (Something about milk-sacs, was he calling her a cow?) Then the one called Jag invaded her personal space, again and to make it even worse, it kept staring at her breasts. She could feel the fire burning in her stomach and just as she was about to unleash it, Jag left her and went back to the dragonborn. Kai didn't know where these two had come from or why they were here but they made her uncomfortable. With Argus in his weakened state and these two making lewd comments and gestures she had half a mind to say "Fuck it." and just torch the whole mountain.

She didn't mind paying the ogres a visit tonight instead of tomorrow and if things kept going the way they were here she definitely would leave. She looked over at the tent. It was torn on one side from where the dragonborn's sword had cut it. Another reason for her to leave tonight, she wouldn't be able to sleep in a tent, not a proper one at least. She then looked over at Argus, he still looked scared from his experience and she actually felt pity for the first time in her life. He had helped her with her quest, given her a tent and the best food she'd ever tasted. She couldn't leave him out here with these strangers, could she? Kaijuu sat, pondering what to do.

Argus sat on the edge of the encampment, his sword sheath lying on his crossed legs as he polished his blade. He needed to leave, he had lost his purpose. There was something he needed to do, somewhere he needed to go, away from Mount Haumond. He was a wanted man in Imperia, he was wanted as the Survivor of the White Wolves, but he had heard of the Felyan Charge at Darrundel. The White Wolves were a neutral party, he made sure they never got involved with the affairs of the Kingdoms and the wars they fought, and he certainly didn't trust the Humans for loyalty, but he needed their help. He was lost without the White Wolves, he had no purpose without Monster Hunting, and although it was illegal without White Wolves now, he wanted to change that. He knew that something wasn't right about Darrundel. When he was in the Meet, the Meetings between the Barons, Lords, Viscounts and the High King himself, he knew that there was something dark in Lord Quentyn Damon-Cowles. He was deceitful, wanting the throne for himself, and he was in the perfect place to usurp the Throne from the Corundars, especially if something happened at Darrundel.

Argus made his decision. He stood up and walked to his tent and snuck inside. He grabbed his gear and quickly got dressed, preparing himself for the road ahead. He was heading to the Monastery of the White Wolf. It had been badly burned and almost razed to the ground, but he didn't need the building. He needed his signet ring, and he needed the underground chasm where the equipment, weapons and lore of the White Wolves was held. He had spent too long of a time in the chasm before, burying his fallen comrades in shallow holes without a proper send-off or vengeance. He needed vengeance, but vengeance could wait.

Kaijuu sat, staring into the dying embers of the fire. She was still wondering whether to stay and keep an eye on Argus or leave now and exact her revenge. Every time she looked at the two strangers that had intruded on their camp her mind told her to leave. Argus was a strong man and he could handle himself if these two decided to attack and besides, it wasn't like she owed him anything. She had given him the Dwarven Ale and he had given her the information she sought. As far as she cared they were even. Most importantly, he had tried to kill her! Why would she not only want to stay with, but protect, the man who had just minutes ago tried to end her life?

But there was something about the terrified look in his eyes after he had attacked her, the way he backed away and even apologized that made her question both his strength and his sanity. If he was crazy then the story he told her could have just been a madman's ravings and she would be wasting her time going all the way to the mountains. But if he wasn't crazy and the story was true her staying would give the ogres a chance to leave and she'd have to hope that they'll leave clues as to where they're going on the mountain. Also, there was something else. She was curious as to just what it was that had taken over Argus and made him attack her. Was it the sudden appearance of the strangers or was a just insane. She had never cared much for finding out why people did the things they did but this had caught her attention. She wanted to know what had happened to him and more importantly, why.

Kai made up her mind, she would stay with Argus until she found out what had made him act that way. Whether he liked it or not Argus had just gotten himself a new traveling companion. She blinked twice and looked around. She had been thinking for quite some time and she wasn't sure what had been going on while she was lost in her thoughts. The strangers were still to her left and she decided to ignore them for now but it looked like Argus had gone back in his tent. He hand't answered her questions but it didn't bother her, she'd have all the time in the world to ask him now. She could see him moving around doing who knows what. She doubted he was going to go to sleep not with the experience he just had so she waited outside, prepared for anything.

Wrex walked to Argus as he spotted him going into the tent. The man looked like a warrior, a warrior who was troubled by something. To others, this may have been something that would have put them off, but to a dragonborn who has taken the creed, it was a call to action. A call to action, as much as it was a curiosity that Wrex had to sate.

Standing at Argus's tent, Wrex looked with interest at the tent, wondering what could bother the human inside. "You are bothered by something, warrior. I will to know what it is so I may be able to figure out whether or not I can aid you." Wrex spoke in his kindest voice, which still sounded like quiet fog horn. After asking his question, Wrex stood up, showing his full size and armor, the sheathed bone sword dangling on his side.

Argus simply ignored the voice that spoke to him outside the tent, until he heard the being stretch and it's armour chink. He turned around and saw Wrex. He had never seen a Dragonborn, but the Wolf Scholar had told him about them in case of unnecessary confrontation from the limited species. He cautiously stood up and left his tent, before proceeding to sling his knapsack over his shoulder and leaving his encampment, heading north from his camp with all the equipment he needed.

Kaijuu stood up and followed Argus. Looks like they were leaving tonight, she didn't know where he was headed but she didn't want to ask just yet. She doubted he would be too happy to have an unwanted companion so she decided to keep quiet and try not to be, what was it humans always called her? Ah yes, rude. She tried not to be rude, following him at a safe distance and not speaking. She was disappointed that she hadn't gotten to sleep in the tent but it had gotten ripped and she probably wouldn't have enjoyed sleeping in a drafty tent anyways. Besides, it wasn't even her tent to sleep in and she preferred to sleep outdoors anyways. A tent was a small, confined space with only one way in and one way out. If someone attacked her while she was in there it would be very difficult for her to fight back without setting the whole thing on fire.

She always traveled light so it wasn't difficult for her to simply pick up her belongings and catch up with Argus, leaving the two strangers behind. The warrior had addressed Argus but he had been ignored. She smirked, if Argus acted that way to everyone she could bet he got called 'rude' almost as often as she did. As they walked she stretched her wings, opening and closing them periodically. She almost never transformed into a full human. She usually kept her wings, eyes, and sometimes her claws visible to make it clear to humans, the males in particular, that she was not to be trifled with. She didn't understand why they always thought that just because she resembled a female they could say whatever they wanted to her and keep their lives. It didn't matter, they learned soon enough not to mess with her and some of them even gave her shiny things to leave them alone. She smiled at the memory and looked around, wondering just where Argus was headed in such a hurry. He had been about to go to sleep before his episode but now it looked as if he was ready for an adventure.

Argus had walked away quickly, before even answering Wrex. Why would any warrior decline aid, or at least speak as to why they can't or won't? This confused him severely. He was used to warriors who kept a neutral respect of everyone and were more than willing to help and be helped.

"I really don't understand what goes through a human's mind." Wrex voiced, not realizing that he was speaking. Why were humans always like that? Wrex thought that dragonborn tended to be proud and prideful. This human, from what Wrex could gather, was far more than any dragonborn that he had ever met.

He then looked to Jag. "You wouldn't happen to understand humans, would you?" Wrex questioned. He expected no answer.

Wrex sat on the ground. He was confused and knew only one thing that could clear his head, meditating. Putting his hands on his knees, he ran through a set of powers he had learned many years ago and repeated many more times. First, his body became surrounded in a dull, cold, white flame that gave ice rather than flames. Next, bolts of lightning began to jump around Wrex's armor, each creating a light blue pulse of light. Then the leaves on the ground began to circle him at waist height.

Now was the time to practice the new magics. First among them was causing the grass to grow around Wrex like a new set of armor, before being blow away from the dragonborn. Then was the increase of raw strength, which after charging up for a few minutes, Wrex used to throw himself through a tree.

Lifting his head, Wrex opened his eyes. He observed, only the moon as his light, the forest. To him, it was beautiful and new. Then Wrex saw the dancing light of fire. It was still, moving as if the floor had caught fire. He could not let the forest burn.

Wrex shot down the forest, ignoring anything but the quickest path to the fire. Bursting from the tree lines, Wrex looked around, seeing that the fire had been held in Kaijuu's mouth. Disappointed in himself for mistaking the flame, Wrex turned, his head hung low.

Wrex marched along the dirt path. He hoped that the simple trail would lead him back to civilization, hopefully one that would be able to point him back in the direction of his homelands. This was not his first time visiting human lands, as he knew that the dwarves would not come to surface.

A few hours of walking behind him, Wrex arrived at a small tavern, sitting on a 10 way fork. A few carriages were parked to the side of the building, along with some horses tied around a tree. Wrex began to think, wondering whether or not this was a common trade route. A carriage back to Dracnor would definitely help speed up the journey.

Opening the creaky wooden door, Wrex walked into the tavern, named "The Heavy Traveler." Within it were folks who did not look the likes of traders, but a few of the patrons did. Many had sacks with them, a few had crying children. Some were soldiers, by the look of them. Wrex knew something was up if soldiers would be part of a group like this.

Wrex walked to the counter, looking at all the others who were looking back at him. He could hear whispers among the other patrons, whispers like "What is a dragonborn doing this far from Dracnor?" and "If a dragonborn is here, it must be bad!" He had no clue that anything was going on. Wrex could only assume that some massive beast had attacked a town and those around him were refugees, assuming that a dragonborn was brought in to kill whatever destroyed the town.

When Wrex sat down, the barkeep walked over to the bar across from him. "Why are you here?" The barkeep asked, leaning over the bar, inspecting Wrex carefully. "I was in Solvain hunting a telepanther. It struck me, and next thing I know, we are fighting on Mount Haumond in the beginning of the night." Wrex spoke, many of the humans looking at him with great intrigue.

Through the emptiness and quiet of the solitude in self, the only emotions left to feel being those that it harbored, did, to its ears, come words for which it had known before.
"..it'll change your life forever." For in this life, not ten thousand moons had passed, but by the mind, ten thousand years, in fact. So Jag turned eyes to the Demon-Man, and the Dragon-Women, and quiet like, burned with intrigue from the days of Before. With memories stretched long over the times now having come and passed, such sounds burned through the mind into its soul. By nature its species was curious, and could, feasibly, live forever in its sentient state. They passed on in energy alone, leaving memories behind to those who require them. Jag's life was merely a blink in eternity, but its past was a glance in the eye of perpetuity. It existed for what was new, discovering and rediscovering things of old. That which could change the life of a dragon, was a mystery of undeniable attraction to its mind. It allowed its thoughts to pass back over its surroundings, watching their receding forms with visual excitement. Although its eyes did not change, its ears twitched, and its tail sway slowly, the ivory tip leaving tiny trenches in the hardened earth.

By her path cut away from the forest, she came to the village she had glimpsed through the trees, hesitant to enter it without prior knowledge. While there were hundreds of small towns in Ethaeri, Var was cautious about going into a situation in which she wasn't privy to any before hand information. However, she had already ventured from the woods, and it would be foolishness to skulk back to them now. She had come for a reason, and that was supplies, news of the coming War, and perhaps, some trinkets that she could lift from the undeserving and rude. Her first stop, however, was the local tavern. While the men were lascivious and usually intoxicated, she was more than capable of protecting herself, and often, bars were rich with news (although it tended to be highly unreliable), and people too hammered to notice their pockets have become lighter. Pushing her way through the crowd, she took her place at the table, trying not to curl her lips as someone bumped into her, clearly inebriated. She didn't look at the bartender when she ordered, just passing the needed coins over. Money had little worth to her, but sometimes, it was necessary. It wasn't like she planned on actually drinking, but if she didn't order something, she'd be booted out for loitering.
"Your cheapest bourbon," Glancing over, she narrowed her eyes at the stranger to her right, while, to the left of her, someone or other was talking to the barkeep.

"Solvain? I have no idea where that is." Said the barkeep, giving Wrex a questioning look. "That wouldn't be in Dracnor, would it?"

"Yes, it would happen to be in Dracnor." Wrex said, laying coin on the table and pointing to one of the bottles. When the second barkeep came over and picked up the right bottle, Wrex gave a nod. He then took the bottle and opened the top, taking a swig as the barkeep asked "How did a little telepanther get you all the way here?"

"The thing was bigger than me." Wrex said, the few that had listened to his conversation looking at him in total awe. Wrex took another swig of the orange drink.

"You mean to tell me that you managed to take on a telepanther that was bigger than you?" The barkeep said, obviously not believing what Wrex was saying.

"No, I am saying that I killed it." Wrex said defensively, slamming his shield on the table, the massive claw marks showing the size of the most recent encounter. "In my line of work, fighting things bigger than oneself is everyday."

The barkeep just stared. Sure, Wrex was big, but him fighting things that are bigger than him, no killing them, was insane. He barely even knew that creatures got that big, believing that all the stories he had heard were simply exaggerated drunken tales. Now, a dragonborn showed proof to a fight with a creature bigger than itself... and stated that it was common for him to fight that large of creatures.

"And what line of work is that, Dragonborn?" Var admitted the rare sight was somewhat aw inspiring, but she refused to ogle, or comment. She'd heard of such creatures, living in her small town, but none had ever been seen within its borders, and little was known of them. Her uncle had claimed he'd met one before, when he was younger, but it was only briefly, and she was never quite sure she had believed him.

Var was fairly confident she already knew what line of work he worked in; she highly doubted he went around killing telepanthers for fun, so he was probably some sort of monster hunter. He didn't look like the vigilante or hero type, so it was likely a paid job. Not from around here, that was obvious by his words, as much as the unusual quiet in the bar. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the group small group of hovering men, too timid to inquire further about the Dragonborn's adventures to bother him. While she waited for his response, she allowed her eyes to wander, burning sharp and bright as she took in her surroundings. There was a certain wariness to her, as if she wasn't used too being around others, and it clung to her frame, mixing with the scent of wild things, and nights beneath the crowns of trees.
