Hearing the tree being thrown toward her, Painwheel broke the barbs away (growling in pain while doing so), letting the tree continue toward Sammael.
Sammael's reaction time is not that great and he's hit by the palm tree, falling into the sea.
"I got bored," said Luca with a shrug.
"You know," said Luca, laughing. "I heard they attached that wheel directly to your spinal cord. It must have been agonizing. I wonder what would happen if I ripped it out."
"...Wrong answer." Painwheel dug the rapidly-spinning wheel into the ground, rushing into Luca at a difficult-to-gauge speed like a hot sawblade.
Luca lands right in front of her, reaching out to grab Painwheel by the head and lift her off the ground.
With Painwheel's head firmly in his grip, Luca starts squeezing her head. A lesser man's skull would cave in but that would be unfair to do to a registered canon character.
"Nnngh...gragh...!" Painwheel's squirming eventually subsided...as her Buer Drive started grinding into whatever seams are in Luca's arm-plating.
That would be around joints and stuff, so probably it could reach his elbow and shoulder seams. It seems to be doing more to the armor than Luca himself, though.
"Attacking my joints?" asked Luca. "What a fine idea!"
With his other arm, Luca grabs at the point where the Buer Drive attaches to Painwheel's back and starts yanking on it.

This gave Painwheel even more pain, which translated into more power to the Buer Drive, sawing into the elbow seam with greater force than before.
Seeing that he can't yank the Buer Drive out, Luca just grabs it by the base of the blade ends.
"You want to know what your problem is?" asked Luca. "You don't think things through. You honestly think you can beat me."
Luca, grasping onto Painwheel via both her head and her Buer Drive, slams her into the ground.
"I'm bigger," said Luca. "I'm stronger. I'm faster. I'm smarter. I have been trained to the pinnacle of physical condition, and enhanced to go beyond. You're just a schoolgirl with spikes where they shouldn't be."
Luca hoists Painwheel over his head and slams her into another section of the ground.
"And your spikes may make you stronger than the average schoolgirl," said Luca. "Hell, they may even be great for inflicting physical pain. But see, here's the thing - I've had years to get used to physical pain. Nothing you can throw out is going to work."
Again and again Luca slams Painwheel against the ground.
"Which is sad, really," said Luca. "Because I imagine you came all this way hoping for some random mook you could scare easily into giving up all the information you could want. Instead you got me. Face it, my dear. You've already lost."

Luca waits for a few minutes before Sammael FINALLY gets out of the water.
"I thought I said..." panted Sammael, still badly hurt from being hit by a tree. "Not to interfere!"
"I got bored," said Luca. "Now let's go."
Luca and Sammael walk off to who-knows-where. Probably some way of getting back to HQ is where.

Sonic is taking a little rest and relaxation after his previous adventures. Even a hero like him could use some quality time for himself. He is lounging on his beach chair under a beach umbrella. Suddenly, he notices that there is a blue shining comet heading towards the beach area.
